My friends call me Shelbs. I’m a self-taught photographer living in Moody, Alabama with my husband, Austin, and our two sweet babies, Dallas and Charlie. My photography journey began in 2016 when Austin surprised me with my very first camera for Christmas, and I’ve been completely hooked ever since.
These days, life at home is full in the best way. Between soaking up family time, running to sports and activities, sneaking in gym time, spending time outdoors, and dreaming up our next travel adventure. Our crew also includes three dogs(Buckley, Millie, Ollie), a cat(Lou), and five chickens, so there’s rarely a dull moment around here. This beautifully busy season of motherhood and family life is the very heart behind why I love documenting genuine connection for others.

As a little girl, I remember my grandfather carrying his film Canon Sure Shot everywhere we went. That precious man had a passion for capturing moments—seriously, anything. From our fishing trips to family reunions, and my absolute favorite, the candid Christmas mornings.
Thanks to him, I have a treasure trove of documented memories that I will cherish forever. His love for photography deeply influenced my own, and I'm incredibly grateful for the legacy he left behind.
